Can RFQs be sent without an ERP integration?
Yes. RFQs run over email from day one. Axya reads incoming RFQ replies and structures them in the platform whether or not an ERP integration is in place yet. Data can also be exported from Axya as a file.
How many suppliers can receive an RFQ?
There's no fixed cap. Customers typically target 4 to 5 suppliers per RFQ, but you can invite as many as the sourcing event calls for.
How are bids compared?
Side by side, on price, lead time, MOQ, tooling, and freight, standardized into one comparison view regardless of how each supplier formatted their quote.
Can technical documents be included?
Drawings, specifications, and other technical documents can be attached to an RFQ. You can also add revisions and additional documents as addenda once the RFQ is started.
What happens after a supplier is selected?
The award is recorded and can move straight into PO creation. In Infor environments, for example, the award writes back automatically, no re-keying required. Suppliers not selected will be automatically notified, as well.
Can the award feed into the purchase-order process?
Yes. Once a supplier is selected, Axya creates the PO and can trigger the approval process in the ERP before it's issued, then notifies the supplier instantly once approved.
