The founder of Joining Technologies, Michael Francoeur, began the business with three things:

Joining Technologies began operating in 1992 as a provider of electron beam welding services under the name of Energy Beam Labs, Inc.

Chardon Metal Products, founded in 1945, is a third generation family owned machining and tube fabricating company that produces screw machine products, CNC lathe and milled parts, tube fabrications and assemblies.
