Occupying only 4,500 square feet of rented warehouse space, RMI soon gained an excellent reputation for service and quality as a metal service center distributorship.


Success created a need for additional space and in 1984 RMI built a 14,400 square foot warehouse and office, which it still occupies. Its products have been sold to such companies as Ampex, Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard, Kaman, Kurt Manufacturing, Maxcor, Texas Instruments, Western Forge, and more than 150 others.
