In 1910, George Washington Lisk opened a small sheet metal shop on the portion of land which our present U.S.A. plant now covers. His original products were patented baking pans and hand pump fly sprayers. 


Our focus shifted to solenoids after producing our first solenoid valve in 1948. Since that day, our dominant interest has been the design, development, and manufacturing More... of dependable solenoids. 


 Through the years, our products have grown to include solenoid valves, LVDTs, and electronic accessories to operate these products. As our sales grew, we gradually expanded each of our facilities and the manufacturing capabilities at each site. 


 The original Clifton Springs plant now exceeds 300,000 square feet of manufacturing, offices, and warehouse area. The Ireland plant is approximately 100,000 square feet and the United Kingdom site is 35,000 square feet. 


 All locations offer considerable room for further expansion. Our investments in equipment and facilities have been guided by a philosophy of total "in-house capabilities" wherever practical. This enables us to control quality and to respond to the urgent and sometimes sudden needs of our customers.

Hi-Temp Brazing, Inc.

We have been serving the aerospace, medical, electronics, telecommunication, military, automotive and commercial industries for over 30 years, and have been supplying avionics equipment, wace quide assemblies, x-ray housings, hermetically sealed cases, thermal transfer, systems, ground support equipment and NASA in-flight instrumentation.


Although we specialize in aluminum dip brazing, we also provide services such as silver brazing, heat treating, non destructive testing, certified, welding, grinding, high pressure leak detection and helium mass spectrometry vacuum testing. 


Our expert assistance is available to assist you in fabricating your aluminum dip brazed assemblies, or we will arrange to fabricate the assemblies for you. We can meet your needs in our facility or arrange for one of our valued local suppliers to provide fabrication assistance that you may require.

At Brinkman Precision, parts production takes place on new state-of-the-art equipment. Brinkman Precision maintains five core competencies; these include turning, grinding, vertical machining, in-house heat treating and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Our expertise is dealing with challenging materials such as L605, Hast-X, inconel, monel and stainless. Brinkman Precision and affiliates can turn products with a length to diameter ratio of over 30:1 and with overall lengths up to forty inches. Our grinding expertise includes crush grinding, surface grinding, match grinding, outside diameter grinding and inside diameter grinding to tolerances within 10 millionths of an inch. Our vertical machining capabilities are superb as we have a great deal of experience with complicated fixtures and highly restrictive tolerances. Brinkman Precision_x0092_s heat treating capabilities are conducted with two vacuum, aerospace certified furnaces capable of brazing and other More... heat-treating programs. Brinkman Precision also maintains a robust assortment of EDM wire, hole-sinking and popper style machines to complement the primary turning, grinding and vertical machining activities.
