Protek Hydraulique is a dynamic company that stands out for its service and rapid turnaround. Whether in hydraulics, welding or machining, customers everywhere can count on an experienced team offering quality services.

Central Welding and Iron Works has equipment to work any material. Plates and shapes are cut to any profile and laid out using CNC Equipment. High speed plasma cutting ensures accuracy and speed. The appropriate welding processes that are employed include manual, semiautomatic, and automatic processes. Careful fit ups and skilled operators ensure high quality welds.

Gail and Stefan Thomsen purchased Central Welding in 1980 and began specialty bridge fabrication from a small shop in North Bay. To accommodate steadily increasing business, the company moved into new facilities on Seymour Street in 1985 and built a second plant in 2007.  Today, the office and production facility covers a total of 110,000 square feet. We have the capability to take on any project, large or small. 

In 2009 Stefan and Gail began the process of turning the company over to their children. Their daughter Stefanie is now the Vice President of Finance and is also responsible for Engineering. Their son Erik is the company's President, he oversees production and sales.

It is the people that Central Welding & Iron Works has recruited over the years who are responsible for the success of the company. Consistent management since 1980 and a workforce averaging 25 years experience ensure the success of any project

History
ATD Manufacturing Technologies (ATD) is a group founded out of three companies. It has its roots in Advanced Mold Design Technologies building plastic injection molds since 1998. In 2006, American Tools and Dies was created, specializing in metal stamping dies, jigs and fixtures. By 2009, the group was joined by Kahnawake Machining Technologies, specialized in machining, welding and fabrication.
Today, the tight knit team of ATD brings all its acquired knowledge and added plastic production capabilities to better serve you, our most important partners. We pride ourselves of our aboriginal heritage and make sure that you can benefit from our elevated sense of cultural values and ethics.

In 2010 Automated Assembly Inc. was incorporated by Tiercel Technology Corp to manage the contract assembly and is vertically integrated to assist its customers who require machined metal, cut, and/or formed in repetitive equipment manufacturing, proof of concept, design for manufacturing assistance, bill of materials validation, complete work instructions, quality assurance test plans and competitive global sourcing. Lot traceability and serialization is also available through the enterprise resource planning system thus allowing Automated Assembly Inc to maximize quality control by tracking of raw materials through their receipt, manufacture, assembly, test/inspection, inventory stocking and final distribution while maintaining quality assurance certification and the ability to track expirations and warranties. Automated Assembly Inc. can manage logistics locally or globally.
