Even through our early lean years, we tried to focus on business that fit within our vision and was selective in terms of who we worked with and the type of work we performed. Leatherwood Manufacturing, Inc. (LMI) was founded in 1986 by Mike and Linda Leatherwood. Our sons, Gil, Scott, and Randy joined the firm in the first year of operation. We are a family oriented company. LMI is a Veteran owned, high quality custom manufacturer, serving the aerospace, military, medical, transportation, industrial, and commercial industries.
