Thomas Plastic Machinery, Inc. is a family owned business that developed in 1992 in a small 3,000 sq. ft building built by Mark and Paul Thomas. We started out repairing and rebuilding used plastic process equipment for resell. Since being incorporated in 1994, we have grown into a business that has the capabilities from machinery moving and rigging to designing and building custom machinery. We are now situated on a 4.75 acre complex with a 16,000 sq. ft. shop that houses all the necessary tools and equipment for any industrial or mechanical need, as well as 100,000+ sq ft. of warehouse space for inventory we stock to better serve our customers in a fast and convenient way. Over the years, we have developed a good relationship and reputation with all of our customers and it is our mission to always be available for their need, regardless of what they may be. HPAlloys is a leader in the superalloy industry. Few other companies offer the level of service and depth of knowledge that High Performance Alloys has given to our customers. Currently, we supply many fine OEM's, machine shops and resellers - and we would like to invite you to our family as well.


Our past President, Russ Kirchner Jr. a metallurgist and corrosion specialist started this company over 35 years ago. Founded with the intent to sell small requirements quickly and economically. HPAlloys serves the special needs of the aerospace, chemical processing, oil-gas, medical and food processing industries with fast and friendly service.


Many customers keep us in mind for their emergency needs, small quantities, and producing that special item that is not to be found anywhere. We are ISO 9001 and are evaluating certification to AS9100. Our new quality standard enhances the MIL-I-45208A system we had used as a guide over the years.


HPAlloys added manufacturing capability in 1994 with a More... GFM rotary forge machine. In 2006 we added a 750-ton Open Die Lake Erie press for forging blanks, upsets, bars, and shapes. In 2012 we added another GFM rotary forging machine. Today, more than half of our products are made to size through our own processing. This is our Tipton Forging plant.


 We added more cutting capacity in 2010 and 2012 with waterjet cutting machines. Our premier unit is a Flow unit with a 2 meter by 4-meter bed (6.5' x 13'). It utilizes dynamic edge control (limited 5 axis) cutting head for excellent kerf and edge control. The smaller unit is a 4' x 10' with a standard cutting head. This is part of our Hoosier Waterjet plant.
