Alabama Wire, Inc. is a leading independent source for cold-drawn wire. For more than 30 years, we have supplied wire and wire products to a variety of industries and customers. Located just south of Birmingham, Alabama, we operate from a modern 50,000 square foot facility. 


Straightened and cut wire is our specialty, and we offer the widest range of wire diameters and lengths available anywhere. Choice of materials is also extensive, covering the full range of low carbon bright basic, low carbon galvanized, high carbon spring wire, stainless steel, and aluminum. Many other ferrous and non-ferrous grades are available upon request. 


Coiled and re-coiled wire is available, as well. Many sizes and grades are inventoried on-site for immediate shipment. In addition, we have access to the inventories and production capabilities of most major wire drawers in the U.S. 


Our wireforming and fabricating department produces custom wireforms to your specifications. CNC wireformers allow rapid prototyping More... and provide for competitive pricing even for small and medium run quantities. A full complement of conventional machine tools is on hand to perfom a wide variety of wire forming and fabricating operations. This provides great flexibility to make your part in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

The preprocessed plates can then be plasma cut to size, beveled and rolled without coating removal, saving the customer the cost of major More... surface preparation after fabrication. The processing history and quality data for each plate is individually recorded and retained in our electronic data base and is then stenciled per our customers instructions before shipping.
