Installée depuis plus de 12 ans dans le parc industriel de Matane, l’entreprise Prométal Inc. est un fabricant employant une vingtaine d’employés qui réalise des produits sur mesure pour l’industrie de la construction commerciale, industrielle et institutionnelle. L’entreprise œuvre en soudure générale, fabrication de structures d’acier, de métaux ouvrés et de mécano-soudé, en plus d’offrir un service d’unités mobiles.
Nouvellement entièrement rénovée et à la fine pointe de la technologie, Prométal est une usine d’une superficie de 483 mètres carrés (5 200 pieds carrés) et d’une hauteur de 20 pi. Elle a également des bureaux adjacents de 185 mètres carrés (2 000 pieds carrés).
Par ailleurs, Prométal offre des projets clé en main, allant de l’estimation à la livraison. Nous offrons également le service d’ingénierie, la conception de dessins d’ateliers et les prises de mesures scan 3D.
Aussi, l’entreprise propose aux fabricants de structures d’acier, des heures de fabrication lorsqu’ils font face à des échéanciers trop serrés ou des types de travaux hors de leurs standards. Pour ce faire, elle s’appuie sur une équipe solide, jeune, dynamique et professionnelle.
L’entreprise dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires à la prise en charge rapide et la livraison juste à temps du produit pour assurer un contrôle très serré de la qualité et des échéanciers. Pour répondre à la demande sans cesse croissante du marché, ses installations des plus diversifiées incluent : 2 ponts-roulant d'une capacité de 5t, un chariot-élévateur de 10 000 lbs et un de 22 000 lbs, une presse-plieuse de 250 tonnes, 3 lignes de débitage avec scie à ruban 2436 et 9-18 dont une automatique, un sheer à plaques d’une capacité de 10 pi x 3/8, une table à découpe 6x12 d'une capacité de 1 1/2'' d'épaisseur, 10 postes de soudage, une ferrailleuse de 100 tonnes en plus d’un département de peinture primaire. L’usine a donc une grande capacité de production de métaux ouvrés et de structure d'acier.

In 2010 Automated Assembly Inc. was incorporated by Tiercel Technology Corp to manage the contract assembly and is vertically integrated to assist its customers who require machined metal, cut, and/or formed in repetitive equipment manufacturing, proof of concept, design for manufacturing assistance, bill of materials validation, complete work instructions, quality assurance test plans and competitive global sourcing. Lot traceability and serialization is also available through the enterprise resource planning system thus allowing Automated Assembly Inc to maximize quality control by tracking of raw materials through their receipt, manufacture, assembly, test/inspection, inventory stocking and final distribution while maintaining quality assurance certification and the ability to track expirations and warranties. Automated Assembly Inc. can manage logistics locally or globally. Automated Assembly Inc also offers value-added services such as welding, painting and assembled components and is experienced in medical diagnostics, patient handling systems, pharmaceutical dispensing, kiosks, powered and medical carts, robots, LED lighting, packaging equipment, solar energy and industrial equipment assembly.

Benefits:
Cold bending has replaced stampings, castings, forgings, and weldments with smooth, strong low-cost bends and facilitates savings of thousands of dollars. Our NC and CNC bending machines combine with our expertise are supportive of our goal for providing precision pipe and tube bending.

Our 6” NC Tube bender and 3 CNC high volume production-bending machines were added to meet the growing needs of customer demands. These CNC machines are equipped with multi-stack tooling and double head rotation for left and right bending directions. Also, push roll bending can be accomplished which is a large radius adjoining a small thigh radius bend.

Bendfab has invested in state of the art tooling to bend aluminium rectangular tubing both hard and easy way, our in-house tooling for bending structural aluminium rectangular and mild steel tubing ranges from 2” x 2”, 2” x 4″, 2” x 6”, and 2” x 8” rectangular tubing. This bending system incorporates hydraulically clamping dies, ball type mandrels and wiper dies to produce a smooth radius profile.

Also, we provide bending services to manufacturers of custom aluminium stand-alone and add-on greenhouses, sunrooms, commercial solariums, and atriums for a wide range of residential and commercial applications across North America. We use polycarbonate roof panels and poly film covering on the greenhouses we bend and fabricate which can be packaged and shipped from our facility located at 1744 Meyerside Dr., Unit 7&8, Mississauga Ontario, Canada.
