Contacts can be produced from a variety of precious metal materials including silver graphite, silver tungsten, copper graphite, copper tungsten and silver molybdenum. 


In addition to the common precious metal materials above, Contact Technologies is a leader in the application of specialized materials in the contact industry. Some examples of specialized contact materials that can be provided include alloyed brass, gold graphite, silver nickel, silver tungsten carbide and silver tin oxide. We offer short lead times for samples, production deliveries and problem solving.

Catalus produces parts for the automotive, lawn and garden, recreational vehicle, off-road vehicle, and marine markets. Our press capacity ranges from 45 to 825 tons, allowing us to produce a wide variety of parts. Most of our products are iron based or stainless steel.


Catalus production facility includes on-site research and development along with a metallurgical lab that participates in the MPIF Test Methods Assurance Program. This allows us to offer strong material and engineering support while assisting in the development of new parts or help to re-engineer existing parts.

 We have been successful in converting non-PM parts to powder metal, often combining two or more parts into one resulting in reduced lead time and cost.
