Ken-Bar Tool & Engineering provides manufacturing solutions to customers throughout North America. Our innovative approach results in manufacturing and testing equipment that helps our customers maximize their production efficiency and quality. Founded in 1957, we provide over six decades of experience accumulated through literally thousands of completed customer projects.


As a machine builder and system integrator, we provide custom-designed turnkey equipment as stand-alone solutions or integrated into larger manufacturing processes. Automation and robotics are part of our specialties. Ken-Bar is a member of the Association for advancing automation, illustrating the company's commitment towards developing automation technology. We are a FANUC authorized system integrator (ASI), but we also integrate robots from other major manufacturers. For us as a vertically integrated More... company, it is standard practice to work hand-in-hand with our customers from initial concept design to manufacturing, all the way to on-time delivery and commissioning at the customer site with subsequent service and spare part support.


 Our specialties also include the design and manufacturing of gages, dies, tooling, fixtures, leak test equipment and various specialty machines. We have a long history of supplying gages and leak test equipment for bent and welded tubing, many of them for the automotive industry. Our ISO 17025-2017 accreditation allows us to certify and recertify our gages in-house. More recently, we have expanded into supplying prototypes, tooling and equipment for hybrid and electric vehicles to support the move towards increased vehicle electrification.
