Since 1976, ADM has led the metal distribution and processing industry with vast experience and durable products. Through the innovative use of metal, quality customer service and vast experience, ADM is committed to serving the U.S metal supply market. 


American Douglas Metals is a premier manufacturer and processor of aluminum and steel products with three locations throughout the U.S. in Orlando, FL, Buffalo, NY, and Atlanta, GA.


We employ over 50 people across all three locations and our company has a long history of doing business with the highest level of integrity and ethics in the metals industry and the markets we serve.


American Douglas Metals, Inc. was established in 1976 by Dwight Hanny and Stephen Powers in Buffalo, New York. They began offering aluminum products to companies large and small that were neglected by the diminishing distribution markets in the Western New York area. More... Our second location was opened in Orlando, Florida in 1977 offering the same quality aluminum products and expertise to the Florida marketplace.


 In 1987 a full line of carbon steel sheet and carbon steel coil were added to our product mix. In 1993 we doubled the size of our Orlando facility and added equipment to better service our customers.


 In 1994 we opened our third location in Atlanta, Georgia to help link the areas between Buffalo and Orlando. In 2001 we moved our Atlanta operation to a new facility just outside of Atlanta in Acworth, Georgia increasing our capabilities and allowing us to better serve our customers.


 Today, American Douglas Metals is a third generation family-owned and operated organization.
