In September 2000 LT&D Tool & Die Inc. was established in Windsor, Ontario to serve the needs of local stamping plants and tool & die companies.

In 2009 LT&D made the transition to custom machining exclusively to meet the needs of the local tool & die, mold, fixture & gauge, automation and machine building industry. Over the past decade through the use of the latest technology, software’s and machining strategies LT&D developed into a premier source for custom machining in Southwestern Ontario.

In September of 2001, Darryl Dufresne and Normand Marcoux purchased the assets of a small machine shop and immediately implemented a new strategic plan of CNC machining. The new venture was named “Advanced Machining Services“.

What started out as two man / one customer machine shop in 2001 has grown to over 20 experienced machinists operating in a state of the art, 17,000 square foot facility. AMS provides machined components to the global Oil and Gas, Industrial Automation, Automotive and Transportation industries.
