Woolf Aircraft Products, Inc.

We fabricate tubes for hundreds of customers, making thousands of different assemblies in any alloy including aluminum, carbon steel, stainless, inconel and titanium. Made to order contracts range from $100 to $500,000 each with over 500 contracts in production.


Woolf Aircraft Products has specialized in tube fabrications, tube bending and weldments since 1942. We are a small business with approximately 100 employees, located in a modern 94,000 square foot facility in Romulus, Michigan. We fabricate all types of metal tubing and components used for nearly any application. 


We are very strong in the commercial market as well as military and aircraft. Our specialty in thin wall, tight radius work has gained us a reputation for bending difficult configurations. Our size range through 8" as well as the ability to do smaller production runs enables us to fulfill most requirements. A qualified supplier base ensures deliveries of raw materials and specialized services.

AFS is the supplier that developed the forging knuckle for F 150 truck teamed with Visteon for Ford. In 2000 AFS assisted GM in successfully developing their first forging wheel supplier in Asia. AFS is the supplier for the door hinge for jeep wrangler since 2007. AFS is the approved vendor for Tremec for more than 20 items of transmission parts. AFS is a Tier one supplier to Navistar for 14 items of casting parts.


To be a world class most professional supplier for forgings, castings, and finished products for OEM and tier customers by developing a network of qualified manufacturing subcontracted sources, providing design, engineering drawing and specification translation, providing on-site program management and QA, and taking responsibility for raw material procurement, supplier financing, PPAP, shipping product, certification, and inventory management and JIT delivery.
