About Valley Machining Co. In 1980, Len Van Otterloo and Chuck Ver Steeg established Valley Machining Co. in Rock Valley, Iowa. VMC is a manufacturer of precision-machined products and assemblies to customer specifications. Over the years, VMC established a reputation as a leader in providing high quality machined parts at competitive pricing and on-time delivery. Through hard work, innovative ideas and progressive attitude, VMC has grown into one of the area's largest industries. With steady growth from two employees to over 100 employees, VMC became an "Employee Owned" company in 1997. With each employee having a vested interest in our future, our employees are the foundation for future success and growth.
