Clearfield Machine Company, like any competitive company, must continue to educate itself. Though we have been in the manufacturing and casting business for over 100 years -- since 1868, to be exact -- it has always been company policy and good business sense to keep up with foundry technology and give our customers the best products and castings at a fair price. To stay in the foundry business and supply high-strength, close-tolerance castings, Clearfield Machine Company has continuously upgraded its equipment and techniques, and has educated and trained foundry craftsmen to utilize these tools throughout the entire casting process. Clearfield Machine Company molders are specialists in floor molding of castings up to 16,000 lb., whether they are loose, mounted, wood, metal or full mold foam patterns. We make the castings in Furan no-bake, and oil sand -- whatever process is considered most efficient.
