As husband-wife entrepreneurs, we're building our company and clientele from the ground up on the foundations that every machine shop aspires to but rarely employs.
Barbara Cavanaugh was born and raised in Chile and always wanted to run her own business. She earned a degree in Business Administration while managing the office of a land surveying company. Barbara also studied English with the idea of someday opening a business in America.
Shawn Cavanaugh grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, the son to a renowned car parts machinist. He started working tool and die at the age of 15. At 17, he was editing G-code More... and started programming CNC machines a few years later. Over the years, he got to work at some awesome shops throughout California and found his passion for making injection molds for surgical devices for the medical industry. He also loves to create designs that make your ideas come to life.
The two met on the slopes near Tahoe where hearts and dreams collided. It didn't take long to realize how, together, they could run a shop and change how machining is done. They live near San Diego with their son, Shawn Kenobi. (Yes, they're Star Wars fans).
