Jorgensen Forge produces open die forgings with hydraulic presses ranging from 660 to 5000 ton capacity. Rolled rings in a variety of metals are manufactured on one of two ring mills with sizes ranging from 12 inch O.D. to 180 inch O.D. In addition, our hydraulic expander allows sizing and expanding rings up to 225 inch O.D.
Heat-treating includes horizontal and vertical furnaces as well as a drop-bottom furnace More... to facilitate rapid quenching of aluminum. Machining equipment consists of engine lathes and boring mills with a 20-foot diameter capacity.
Jorgensen Forge is capable of working with an array of alloys including low alloy steels, Austenitic Stainless, Martensitic, pH stainless grades, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, and nickel base alloys.
