In 2000, Roll Forming Corporation was acquired by globally leading technology group voestalpine AG and became part of the metal forming, tubes and sections division. Today, voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation has seven production facilities across three states with five facilities and headquarters located in Shelby County, Kentucky and one facility each in Pennsylvania and Indiana. Markets served include aerospace, construction and infrastructure, enclosures, material handling and fulfillment, office furniture, off-highway, ROPs and FOPs, solar and transportation. With engineering, design, tooling and manufacturing all co-located within close proximity to each other, voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation can deliver fully integrated More... roll forming solutions that produce larger volumes of components with exceptionally high quality standards. - Over 30 in-house roll forming lines. - Supported by an extensive in-depth engineering department. - Custom in-house tooling resources. - Material thickness handling from .010" to .250" (.254mm to.635mm) and strip widths from .500" to 20". - Available in-line processes include TOX, Tog-L-Lok rotary stitch, pre-punch, post-punch, mid-punch, variable thickness, remetallizing thermal spray for weld seam protection, clinch nuts, cutting and sweeping. - In-line welding capabilities include laser, high-frequency induction, and low-frequency contact, induction and lines ranging from 11 to 42 passes. - Secondary operations including welding, cutting, bending, tube fabrication and powder coating.
