Description

Steel America is a large Fabrication & Machine Shop located on the Elizabeth River in scenic Norfolk, Virginia with deep water access and capacity to convey large assemblies by coastal and ocean carrier. Our parent company, Colonna Shipyard, Incorporated (C.S.I.) was founded in 1875 in Virginia where we maintain a skilled workforce of 550 people today. When you have requirements for large steel units "tanks, heavy ducting, piping, water control gates, frames, towers, foundations, hangers, modular construction, screens, racks, barges, platforms or enclosures", major machining "shafting, pins, bushings, mill work or bearings", machinery overhaul "Gearboxes, valves, winches or material handling equipment", mechanical work or field machining, please consider our capabilities.
