Jorgensen Forge brings a powerhouse of equipment and capabilities to bear. Whether our customers are looking to take their projects to outer space, underground or out to sea, we have the expertise and resources necessary to get them there. We offer a proven track record producing seamless rolled rings for aircraft and aerospace products; high-strength, nonmagnetic drill collar materials and other drive related components for oil and gas applications; conventional and nuclear power generation products; and the most advanced propulsion shafting and other types of marine hardware. Jorgensen Forge produces open die forgings with hydraulic presses ranging from 660 to 5000 ton capacity. Rolled rings in a variety of metals are manufactured on one of two ring mills with sizes ranging from 12 inch O.D. to 180 inch O.D. In addition, our hydraulic expander allows sizing and expanding rings up to 225 inch O.D. Heat-treating includes horizontal and vertical furnaces as well as a drop-bottom furnace More... to facilitate rapid quenching of aluminum. Machining equipment consists of engine lathes and boring mills with a 20-foot diameter capacity. Jorgensen Forge is capable of working with an array of alloys including low alloy steels, Austenitic Stainless, Martensitic, pH stainless grades, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, and nickel base alloys.
