Description

The Ellwood Closed Die Group (ECDG) reliably delivers complete forging solutions. ECDG, owned by Ellwood Group Inc. (EGI), consists of three facilities located in southeast Texas collectively offering closed die forging, heat treatment, testing, and machining of carbon, alloy, stainless, titanium and nickel-based materials-all in the house. Founded in 1910 and privately held, EGI is a growth oriented company with nine separate business units. All of its business units are non-union and have a strong focus towards safety, quality, and reliability. Its capabilities include steel melting, mill products, open die forgings, closed die forgings, grey & ductile iron castings, heat treatment, testing, and machining.
